A Welcome From Our Rt. Worshipful Master

Greetings to you all,

And a very warm welcome from myself, Office-bearers, Past Masters and Brethren, to our website.

It is hard to believe that a year has passed so quickly and we are already into a new year following my re-installation ceremony on Wednesday 09th January 2008.

My reign as Rt.W.M. in 2007 was most enjoyable and I am deeply honoured to have been re-installed as Rt.W.M. for the following 12 months. I look forward to continuing in a manner that is fit and proper for the Rt.W.M. in Lodge St. Andrew No 601, Ardersier.

I was also delighted to witness our JD progress to SD and to note we installed several Office Bearers in offices for the very first time. Not only will this enhance their enjoyment of Freemasonry in general but more importantly it augers well for the future well being of the Lodge.

Please remember that one of the legacies of our military lineage is that Lodge St. Andrew No. 601 does not close for a summer recess. Accordingly we meet the first Wednesday of each and every month except January, when our Installation meeting is held.

So wither you’re on holiday, just passing through or have been unable to visit for a while. Please be assured that a very warm welcome awaits you all.   I hope you enjoy our website and thank you for showing and interest in our Lodge.

Fraternally
Alasdair MacGillivray
Rt.W.M

About The Lodge

A warm and fraternal welcome awaits all visiting Brethren to Ardersier.

Where We Are

Ardersier is approximately 11 miles NE of Inverness, on the coast of The Moray Firth. From Inverness and the A96, it is best to follow the A9039, which runs between the airport and the sea. As you enter the village keep close to the sea at all times along Main Street, until you come to a car park on the left. The Lodge is across the road on the corner. (close to the small + on the map below.)

Meetings

Because of our origins as a military lodge, we have no close season and we meet every first Wednesday of each month, throughout the year except January, when we usually meet on the 1st Saturday at 2.30pm. The meetings throughout the rest of the year commence at 7.30pm.
